NEONwire is an electro luminescent wire. It is the only linear light source in the world available in many colors, small diameters (2.3-3.2mm, 0.09-0.13in) and lengths varying from millimeters to hundreds of meters.
When the appropriate electric current is applied to NEONwire, the flexible wire shines beautifully in a glow very similar to a neon light. Amazingly, one thousand meters of NEONwire consumes the energy of just one ordinary light bulb!
